Grooveshark

grooveshark

I absolutly LOVE Grooveshark. It is one of the best music streaming platforms that I’ve seen so far. People tell me that Stotify is great, and that Google Audio might be just around the corner, but untill I get to try either of them, Grooveshark will receive loads of my worshipping. Check out their new interface, it’s lovely!

I saw it in a shoe once, I think it was an Adidas sneaker. This is a reconstruction from my memory.

Teaching

studentsFor quite some time, I’ve had a  fantasy about teaching visual design. I’ve been teaching gymnastics since I was just a kid, but since I’m already way better at designing than I will ever be at gymnastics, teaching design seems like a really great idea. I’ve talked it over with 46h where I used to study new media design myself, and they have offered my to come and give lectures on Photoshop and Illustrator. Well, mainly Illustrator.

I’ve been thinking about writing several tutorials through time, perhaps I can implement these sketchy ideas in my teaching. I’m really excited!

Since the basic tools for Illustrator are super super simple, I think the best approach will be to spend much more time teaching about techniques, rather than the tools themselfes. Obviously I will have to come up with certain assignments and tasks for the students to complete, and I’m am sure that will be really fun.

Perhaps I should prepare a showcase of my own, to show what vectors are capable of? I must begin immidiatly. To the bat-mobile!
